Main stage speakers announced for Healthcare Innovation Expo 2011

A number of expert and inspirational speakers have been confirmed for the main stage at the Healthcare Innovation Expo 2011. 

Andrew Lansley, Secretary of State for Health, will open the Expo speaking on the main stage on 9th March 2011. 

As previously mentioned NHS Chief Executive, Sir David Nicholson, will discuss why the NHS needs innovation. Meanwhile Professor Sir Bruce Keogh, NHS Medical Director, will talk to delegates about encouraging innovation. 

Lord Victor Adebowale, Chief Executive at Turning Point will touch on an innovative approach to the third sector, whilst Jim Easton, National Director for Improvement and Efficiency, Department of Health will talk the power of innovation to unleash productivity. 

Other topics which will be discussed include: 

  • The importance of private sector innovation
  • Importance of innovation in government
  • Innovation for business
  • Importance of innovation to London
  • Innovative ways of improving healthcare in the US
