The UK Trade & Investment Life Sciences International Business Innovation Zone (IBIZ 2011) is being held within the Healthcare Innovation Expo, being held at ExCeL London on the 9th and 10th March.

IBIZ 2011 is an international Life Sciences business- to-business partnering event presenting an opportunity to meet over 100 buyers and partners from 25 markets. We anticipate over 300 UK Life Sciences companies looking to expand their international presence will attend to pre-book meetings and forge new partnerships.

Buyers and partners from markets including the USA, Europe, India, China and the Middle East will attend IBIZ looking to meet and partner with UK companies. Partnering opportunities will be available with over 1,000 partnering meetings expected over the course of the event. Commercial Officers from over 30 markets will be present to give advice on the latest market opportunities and how UKTI can help you successfully enter new markets.

As part of the IBIZ offer, seminar sessions will be held covering topics including regenerative medicine; connected health; stratified medicine; an update on the strategic priority areas of Europe, China and the USA; aid funded business and opportunities in key markets such as Russia, China, Brazil and Japan. The seminars on key markets also include a special workshop on accessing the US market with speakers addressing strategies for navigating the FDA’ regulatory process, reimbursement policies and the various distribution channels for bringing products to market.

A key strand of IBIZ is IBIZ invest, a one-day forum giving pre-selected Life Sciences SMEs the chance to pitch to an audience of investors. Life Sciences investors can still attend this event.
